What one-to-one Pilates with me looks like

1:1 Pilates is private, focused and tailored to your individual needs. As an APPI-trained instructor, I teach clinical Pilates that's evidence-based and shaped around your body — never a generic class plan. We use both matwork and the reformer, and I choose the equipment, pace and progressions that suit you on the day.

Because it's just the two of us, I can watch how you move, adjust in the moment and make sure every exercise is genuinely working for you. It's a calm, unhurried way to build real strength and confidence.

  • Private studio sessions — just you and me, never a class
  • APPI clinical Pilates using both matwork and the reformer
  • Every exercise tailored to your body, your stage and your goals
  • Evidence-based, unhurried and genuinely reassuring
Pregnancy

Antenatal Pilates — moving well through pregnancy

Pilates can be a wonderful companion through pregnancy. Together we'll work on gentle strength, good posture and easy, effective breathing, helping you stay comfortable as your body changes and stay connected to your deep core and pelvic floor.

Everything is tailored to your trimester and to how you're feeling, so you can move with confidence right through your pregnancy — and lay strong foundations for your recovery afterwards. This is pregnancy and antenatal Pilates in Wigan built entirely around you.

Postnatal recovery

Postnatal Pilates — rebuilding your core and confidence

After birth, 1:1 Pilates is a gentle, guided way to rebuild. We'll help you reconnect with your deep core and pelvic floor, support your recovery from diastasis recti, and gradually restore the strength and function that motherhood asks so much of. There's no rush and no pressure — just steady, reassuring progress.

Many mums begin with The Natal Check to understand exactly where their body is, then move into 1:1 Pilates to put that personalised recovery plan into action.

Perimenopause & menopause

Strength and confidence through perimenopause and menopause

Building strength and confidence during perimenopause through Pilates — one of my favourite reasons women come to the studio.

Perimenopause and menopause bring real change: in strength, in energy and in how your body feels from one day to the next. This is where Pilates truly shines. Together we'll build strength, support your bones and muscles, care for your pelvic floor and posture, and help you feel steady and capable again.

Beginners are so welcome — you don't need any experience at all. Every session is tailored to you, so you can feel stronger, more confident and empowered, and genuinely your very best, inside and out.

Why one-to-one

Clinically informed, and completely about you

One-to-one means my full attention is on you — your body, your history and your goals. I can tailor every progression, keep everything safe and comfortable, and celebrate the wins with you along the way.

My BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy gives me a deep understanding of anatomy and how the body moves, and my APPI Pilates training (Matwork & Reformer) means every session is clinically informed — never a generic class plan carried over to a one-to-one.

What women say

I went to Jenny for a postnatal appointment after my second c-section. She was really helpful and I felt like I was being cared for and assessed properly unlike the general postnatal follow up at my GP surgery!
