BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy · Postnatal & scar therapy trained

01 · Postnatal recovery
The Natal Check
A thorough postnatal check
From around six weeks after birth — and just as valuable months or even years on — The Natal Check gently assesses your tummy muscles (checking for diastasis recti), pelvic floor (an external assessment), posture, breathing and any scar. Together we build a personalised recovery plan that fits your body, your birth and your goals, so you can move forward feeling reconnected, stronger and more like yourself again.

02 · C-section & scar recovery
Scar Therapy
Gentle, hands-on care for C-section and other scars
Once a scar has healed — usually from around six weeks — gentle scar therapy can ease tightness, sensitivity, adhesions and restriction, helping you reconnect with your core and feel at home in your body again. C-section scars respond beautifully to this care, and older scars do too, so it's never too late to book.

03 · Recovery & wellbeing
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Light, rhythmic massage to support your lymphatic system
MLD uses light, rhythmic movements to support your lymphatic system, helping to reduce swelling and fluid retention. It's a soothing, restorative treatment that aids post-surgical and postnatal recovery while supporting your overall wellbeing — a gentle way to help your body feel lighter, calmer and more balanced.

04 · Strength & confidence
1:1 Pilates
Private, tailored APPI clinical Pilates — pre & postnatal, and through perimenopause
Every 1:1 Pilates session is private and completely tailored to you, drawing on APPI clinical Pilates across both matwork and reformer. It's wonderful for pregnancy and postnatal recovery — and it's one of the most empowering ways to build strength and confidence through perimenopause and menopause. Beginners are always welcome; we simply start where you are and grow from there.

What women say
I went to Jenny for a postnatal appointment after my second c-section. She was really helpful and I felt like I was being cared for and assessed properly unlike the general postnatal follow up at my GP surgery!
I attended a postnatal check with Jenny. I found her very knowledgeable and gained lots of useful advice and tips to support my recovery. I would highly recommend.
I would definitely recommend seeking treatment and support from Jenny following pregnancy / birth. During the post natal check, she was thorough and extremely approachable.
Jenny's knowledge and expertise have given me guidance and confidence in how to give my body the best chance of recovery following pregnancy and a difficult labour. It is fantastic to have such support when new mums need it most.
I started seeing Jenny 6 weeks after having my second child doing 1-1 Pilates sessions then later beginners Pilates classes. I had suffered with lower back/pelvic pain from quite early on in my pregnancy…
Perfect service! Since giving birth I had hip, back, and leg issues. Jenny's got me to a point I can move so much more freely and pain free, and interact with my baby easier than I would have without her help.
I have dealt with Jenny on numerous occasions … most recently for c section scar recovery! Jenny is always professional and understanding. She listens to your issues and concerns and also takes into consideration what your goals are. Throughout all my visits I have felt comfortable and I can't wait to move forward in my journey in motherhood and movement with Jenny in my corner ensuring my body moving correctly!
Just had a lymphatic drainage massage with Jenny. It was amazing and can't recommend it enough. Had a few months with fatigue and energy level problems…
Jenny is absolutely amazing and has really helped me with my recovery and the ongoing pain I am experiencing. Her knowledge and understanding, as well as her professional support, make all the difference in aiding your recovery and easing your pain. I can strongly recommend her!
Jenny was nothing short of amazing, from the first phone call to each session, she is friendly and professional and put me at ease from the start. The treatment I've had has been so effective.

Frequently asked questions
When can I book The Natal Check after having my baby?
You're welcome from around six weeks after birth, once you've had your GP check. It's just as valuable months or even years on, so it's never too late to book.
What does The Natal Check involve?
It's a thorough postnatal check assessing your tummy muscles (diastasis recti), pelvic floor, posture, breathing and any scar. The pelvic floor assessment is external only — there is no internal examination. Together we build a personalised recovery plan tailored to you.
Do I need to be recently postnatal to benefit?
Not at all. Whether your baby is six weeks or several years old, your body can still respond beautifully. Many women come to me long after birth and see real improvements.
When can I start C-section or scar therapy?
Usually from around six weeks, once your scar has fully healed. Older scars respond well too, so gentle, hands-on scar therapy can help even years later.
What can scar therapy help with?
Gentle scar therapy can ease tightness, sensitivity, adhesions and restriction around C-section and other scars, helping you feel more comfortable and reconnect with your core.
What are the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)?
MLD is a light, rhythmic massage that supports your lymphatic system, helping to reduce swelling and fluid retention and aid post-surgical and postnatal recovery, while supporting your overall wellbeing.
Is 1:1 Pilates suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Beginners are very welcome. Every private session is tailored to you, so we start exactly where you are and build strength and confidence at your own pace.
Is Pilates safe during pregnancy?
Yes. My 1:1 antenatal Pilates uses gentle, clinical APPI methods tailored to each stage of pregnancy, always working in line with your midwife or GP's guidance so you feel safe and supported.
Can Pilates help during perimenopause or menopause?
Yes, it's one of my favourite things to support. Tailored 1:1 Pilates helps you build strength, stability and confidence through perimenopause and menopause, so you feel your very best.
